- A roof frame of treated pine timber, undercoated and painted, is used for stability and durability against all weather conditions.
- Alternatively, Colour Bond steel or Aluminium can be used as an option to the timber frame mentioned above.

- The Louvres are extruded to our exclusive profile providing a clean soft appearance, and better water control. They are 1.75mm thick architectuarl grade Aluminiem, and are therefore less noisy than louvres made of other materials, when heavy rain is experienced, and provide better hail protection.
- The Powder Coated aluminium louvres will be of a colour to complement te colour scheme of your home, and will withstand the tests of weather and time for many years to come, meeting the Australian Standards for outdoor finishes.
- The louvres are joined together with an aluminium pull-bar, and rotate on Stainless Steel pins, for years or trouble free operation.
- The Motor is a 12V DC Linear Actuator, and drives an aluminium and stainless steel mechanical devise to operate the room. This mechanism features two Stainless Steel rollers that provide a lifetime of smooth operation, and allow us to operate a larger roof with a single motor. This is mounted safely inside the gutter again for years of trouble free operation and neat appearance.
- A transformer is usually mounted inside the existing roof, out of harms way and sight, and provides the power supply for the motor.
- All wiring, fuses, switches, and control panel, necessary for the roof's operations, are supplied and installed to complete the package.
- Rain and light sensors can be provided, that will automatically open the roof to a pre-determined setting when the sun shines, and close the roof when rain is detected.
- Manual operation can also be selected on the control panel, allowing you to rotate the louvres to your desired position through approximately 160 degrees rotation. This enables you to select as little or as much sun or shades as you desire.
- This feature also allows your Opening Roof to be opened slighly, so heat does not build up under the roof, making the area unbearable and unusable. This will provide an additional living area, where you control the environment.
